The Principle of Confession: I need to confess my weakness and misbehaviors to myself, God and another trusted confidant.

Many people who go through our program find this fundamental difficult. Not that the others aren’t; remember that anything worth having takes courage, hard work and discipline. This fundamental though is unique in the fact that you are exposing all of your weaknesses and faults to God (who already knows everything we have already done or thought) and another person.

The Principle of Confession: I need to confess my weakness and misbehaviors to myself, God and another trusted confidant.

Daily confession is needed to help ourselves stay honest. Many of us overlook this important step to true freedom and success, sometimes with unintended consequences. When we begin to feel stress or anxiety and can’t understand why it is usually because we are beginning to “bottle” things up inside ourselves.

Confession

Confession frees the confessor from the pain of holding on to past mistakes or misdeeds. When you learn the habit of regular confession you begin to free yourself from the burdens of the past and begin to focus on the present and future.

Confessing isn’t always easy. It takes courage, trust, and complete honesty. Without all three of these working together, it is unlikely that the person doing the confessing will be able to practice this fundamental successfully.
